It's one of those minor irritations in life that people with a strong desire to show-off and a low understanding of consequences like to reveal how magic tricks are done.
That's rather like letting a child see inside a Punch and Judy booth - it destroys the magic forever. We all know that magic is simply illusion, misdirection and sleight of hand, so why ruin it by telling the secrets?
