Yesterday we went on the Diocesan Pilgrimage.
Today, I was hoping to have the day off, but stayed in the Berko burrow to be around in case of the inevitable queries. So far nothing major, until about 4pm, when a phone message advised me of fly-tipping overnight in the car-park. It hasn't happened before.
A number of people are on holiday so we won't get it sorted today, but I smiled as I thought of the 'guidance' that is issued to the newly ordained for how to cope when the incumbent is absent. Fly-tipping wasn't mentioned.
