Walking in the light

My journey this morning was quicker than usual, so on a whim I pulled into a petrol station forecourt, parked the car, and went into the shop intending to buy a sandwich for later on.  As I walked through the door a man grasped me by the hand and said, "Sister will you pray for me?" "Of course, tell me more."

So in three minutes, we held hands, and this man of simple, direct faith, told me concisely of his life and his crisis and asked me to light a candle for him and to pray.  So, Hughie, I did, and I am.  Bless you.

. and if you are not a Christian, it might sound odd to know that my eyes were leaking a bit as I drove on to my appointment.  God is good.
